The Evapco ATC-1655E is a high-capacity, induced-draft, counterflow evaporative condenser designed for industrial refrigeration, HVAC, and process cooling applications. It efficiently removes heat from ammonia and other refrigerants to improve system performance.
An evaporative condenser uses a combination of air and water to cool refrigerant vapor. The refrigerant travels through the Thermal-Pak II® Coil, where heat is transferred to the water. As the water evaporates, it removes heat, condensing the refrigerant back into a liquid state.
- The ATC-1655E is widely used in:

The Evapco ATC-1655E has a nominal capacity of 1655 TR per full package and 1175 TR for ammonia (R-717). When purchased as a single unit, the capacity is 828 TR (nominal) or 588 TR (ammonia).
The ATC-1655E is optimized for ammonia (R-717) but can also be used with other industrial refrigerants such as R-22 and R-134a.
This model includes Power-Band Belt Drive Systems and Totally Enclosed Fan Motors (TEAO) for reduced power consumption and quiet operation. It also has a low refrigerant charge, which helps maintain efficiency and cost savings.
