APV Crepaco Skid-Mounted Tubular Pasteurizer. Previously used in a 10 GPM apple cider application. Built by APV in 1998, and only used seasonally (3-4 months per year) until the fall of 2011. Apple cider pasteurization is done at 160F and holds for 6 seconds to reduce e-coli bacterial counts. Tubular design can process particles greater than 1/16 inch in size, which a plate style unit cannot handle. Flooded volume: 9 gallons. Includes Dunkirk boiler but utilizes a remote chiller (not included). Automatic temperature control with Anderson ACR 700 chart recorder.
